Dani Pedrosa has seven consecutive rostrums at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from his last seven visits (he missed the 2011 round due to injury). Nine podiums in his eleven MotoGP races there and a total of thirteen in all three classes, with three wins : In 2003 – in 125cc -, in 2005 – in 250cc- and in 2008 – in MotoGP -.

Three weeks ago, the Repsol Honda team undertook a positive test at the track that has returned to its traditional layout at Turn 13, and which Márquez and Pedrosa analyse in the following video.

The Catalan Grand Prix takes place a week after the FIM CEV Repsol round held at the same circuit, in which young rider Andreas Pérez died on Monday as a result of injuries suffered in a crash. Repsol offer our condolences to his family, friends and team.
