The FIM CEV Repsol to finish the 2019 season in Valencia
The Ricardo Tormo Circuit will hold the last round of the calendar with the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship title still up for grabs
Jeremy Alcoba will arrive in Valencia as the leader of the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship overall standings with an advantage of 46 points over Carlos Tatay, the only one that has a chance to fight him for the title. Alcoba will be Champion if he gathers five points from this weekend’s last two races, independently of what Tatay does.
With Edgar Pons already Moto2 Champion and Hector Garzó runner-up, the third place of the championship will be decided between Alessandro Zaccone and Tommasso Marcon, separated by only two points.
The runner-up spot at the European Talent Cup (ETC) is still up for grabs too and up to five riders have options to get it. Rueda, Alonso, Aldeguer, Ortolá and Moreira will try to take the place right behind Izan Guevara, who secured the title last September in Jerez.
This next Sunday, at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, the FIM CEV Repsol action will start at 11:00 am local time, with two Moto3 races and only one for Moto2 and the ETC.
The FIM CEV Repsol has been a steppingstone to the World Championship for many of the most important figures of MotoGP. Barry Baltus, Carlos Tatay, Jason Dupasquier, Jeremy Alcoba and Ryusei Yamanaka are some of the riders that next season will be in the Moto3 World Championship’s grid after growing up as riders in this championship.
